We are looking for Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified candidates to fill the role of Agile Program Delivery Manager
The Opportunity:
We are looking for an Agile Program Delivery Manager to oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of Racing Victoria’s Agile Operating Model along with the effective operation of multiple business value steams in the delivery of Racing Victoria’s strategic priorities.
This role acts as the "glue" across all levels of the Agile Operating Model, coaching teams at the Enterprise Portfolio and Steering Committee level whilst leading the Program and Delivery levels in the use of the Agile Operating Model and Scrum practices in the ongoing delivery of the Enterprise Portfolio.
About you:
You are a highly motivated individual who has a proven track record of successful outcomes as an Agile Program Delivery Manager, with specific experience leading a companywide Agile Operating Model in the delivery of digital transformation objectives.
You are qualified in and have deep working experience with Agile project methodology in support of business transition to Agile ways of working and to serve as a coach to Delivery Leads, Product Owners and Business Analysts in adherence to an Agile framework such as SAFe® or DSDM, and Scrum.
You will demonstrate an ability to organise and plan the delivery of programs and initiatives within agreed timeframes, within budget and meeting quality standards and be a proven change agent with relentless pursuit of embedding a culture of agility and focus on delivering value for the organisation.
Your ability to engage with, understand and deliver solutions to a range of stakeholders, including executive level managers to elicit high level requirements and expectations, are critical to the success of this role.
As a collaborative leader you will be passionate about continuous improvement, mentoring team members and the delivery of RV’s strategic objectives.
Technical expertise required for the role include:
- Agile / Scrum practitioner in a Technology and/or Product led organisation;
- Agile certification across a range of disciplines such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar
- Experience working with Atlassian Product suite e.g. Jira, Confluence;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
